RENNES, France - June 21, 2013 - Thomson Video Networks is very proud to announce that its ViBE video compression solution has won a European Readers' Choice Award in the Transcoding category from Streaming Media magazine. This year's European Readers' Choice Awards brought in more than 330 nominations and 12,000 votes across 16 categories. In addition to the ViBE's win in the Transcoding category, Thomson Video Networks' Sapphire MPEG server was a finalist in the Server Hardware/Software category.
