Umsatz in den ersten neun Monaten 2015 um 10,6 Prozent auf 10,0 Milliarden Euro gesteigert

EBIT-Marge in den ersten neun Monaten mit 12,5 Prozent weiter auf hohem Niveau

Free Cash Flow im dritten Quartal bei 264 Millionen Euro

Ausblick 2015 unver ndert - W hrungsbereinigtes Umsatzwachstum von 4 bis 5 Prozent, EBIT-Marge 12 bis 13 Prozent

Der Automobil- und Industriezulieferer Schaeffler hat seine erfolgreiche Gesch ftsentwicklung fortgesetzt. In den ersten neun Monaten 2015 konnte das Unternehmen seinen Umsatz um 10,6 Prozent auf 10,0 Milliarden Euro steigern. Ohne W hrungsumrechnungseffekte betrug das Wachstum 4,2 Prozent.

Das Automotive-Gesch ft verzeichnete ein Umsatzwachstum von 12,6 Prozent im Vergleich zum Vorjahr (w hrungsbereinigt 6,5 Prozent) und bertraf damit erneut deutlich das Wachstum der weltweiten Produktionsst ckzahlen f r Pkw und leichte Nutzfahrzeuge ( 1,2 Prozent). Einen wesentlichen Beitrag dazu leisteten vor allem Produkthochl ufe, neue Kundenprojekte sowie Kapazit tserweiterungen an Produktionsstandorten in den Wachstumsregionen. Die Ums tze im Industriegesch ft legten um 5,0 Prozent zu. Ohne Ber cksichtigung von positiven W hrungseffekten sank der Umsatz der Sparte Industrie um 2,2 Prozent.

Klaus Rosenfeld, Vorsitzender des Vorstands der Schaeffler AG, sagte: Unser Automotive-Gesch ft l uft weiter sehr gut. In einem herausfordernden Marktumfeld konnten wir unseren Umsatz erneut berdurchschnittlich steigern. Die Neuausrichtung in unserer Industriesparte verl uft nach Plan. Wir sind zuversichtlich, dass wir mit unserem Programm CORE die Profitabilit t im Industriegesch ft schrittweise verbessern werden.

Die Schaeffler AG hatte im August dieses Jahres verk ndet, die Effizienz und Wettbewerbsf higkeit im Industrie-Gesch ft im Rahmen einer Neuausrichtung nachhaltig zu verbessern. Kernelemente dieser Neuausrichtung sind verst rktes Umsatzwachstum, bessere Marktversorgung und Servicequalit t, st rkere Kundenorientierung sowie Kostensenkungen und Effizienzsteigerungen.

Alle vier Regionen der Schaeffler Gruppe verzeichneten in den ersten neun Monaten 2015 ein Umsatzplus, wobei sich au erhalb der Eurozone W hrungseffekte positiv auf den Umsatz auswirkten. Die Wachstumsdynamik zeigte sich in den einzelnen Regionen sehr unterschiedlich. Das h chste Umsatzwachstum erreichte die Schaeffler Gruppe in der Region Greater China mit einer Steigerung von 26,3 Prozent (w hrungsbereinigt 5,8 Prozent) gegen ber dem Vorjahr, gefolgt von der Region Americas, in der der Umsatz um 21,2 Prozent (w hrungsbereinigt 9,8 Prozent) zunahm. Die Region Asien / Pazifik verzeichnete ein Umsatzwachstum von 12,1 Prozent (w hrungsbereinigt 2,4 Prozent). In der Region Europa lag das Wachstum bei 3,4 Prozent (w hrungsbereinigt 2,2 Prozent).

Das EBIT (Ergebnis vor Zinsen und Steuern) der Schaeffler Gruppe stieg in den ersten neun Monaten 2015 im Vergleich zum Vorjahreszeitraum um 1,7 Prozent auf 1,3 Milliarden Euro. Die EBIT-Marge gemessen am Umsatz bewegte sich mit 12,5 Prozent weiterhin auf einem hohen Niveau. Finanzvorstand Dr. Ulrich Hauck erkl rte: Dank unseres starken Automotive-Gesch fts und hoher Kostendisziplin konnten wir unsere Marge im Vergleich zum ersten Halbjahr verbessern.

In den ersten neun Monaten 2015 erwirtschaftete die Schaeffler Gruppe einen Cash Flow aus laufender Gesch ftst tigkeit in H he von 912 Millionen Euro (Vj.: 410 Millionen Euro). Die Investitionsauszahlungen betrugen 743 Millionen Euro (Vj.: 500 Millionen Euro). Die Investitionsquote (Investitionsauszahlungen im Verh ltnis zum Konzernumsatz) betrug 7,4 Prozent (Vj.: 5,5 Prozent). Auf dieser Basis ergab sich ein positiver Free Cash Flow in H he von 192 Millionen Euro; er lag damit deutlich ber dem Vorjahreswert von minus 87 Millionen Euro.

Die Zahl der Mitarbeiter ist zum Ende des dritten Quartals gegen ber dem Jahresende 2014 um etwa 2.100 Besch ftigte auf rund 84.400 angestiegen. Neueinstellungen von Fachkr ften erfolgten insbesondere in der Fertigung und den fertigungsnahen Bereichen.

Das Unternehmen best tigte seine am 21. September 2015 angepasste Prognose f r das Gesamtjahr 2015. Trotz der schw cheren Marktentwicklung im Automotive-Gesch ft in China sowie im Industrie-Gesch ft weltweit rechnen wir f r das Gesamtjahr weiterhin mit einem w hrungsbereinigten Umsatzwachstum von 4 bis 5 Prozent. An dem Ziel, eine EBIT-Marge von 12 bis 13 Prozent vor Einmaleffekten zu erreichen, halten wir unver ndert fest , sagte Rosenfeld.
