Mobilit t f r morgen mit Innovationen gestalten
Wie innovativ Schaeffler ist, das zeigt auch die Zahl angemeldeter Patente. In der offiziellen Patentstatistik des Deutschen Patent- und Markenamts (DPMA) belegt Schaeffler mit 2.100 neu angemeldeten Patenten im Jahr 2013 Platz zwei (Vorjahr Platz vier) unter den innovativsten Unternehmen. Doch bedeutender als die Statistik sind die Innovationen und Technologien, die im Mittelpunkt des Schaeffler-Kolloquiums stehen. Im Rahmen dieser Veranstaltung gew hrt das Unternehmen alle vier Jahre Einblicke in neueste Entwicklungen und Technologien aus den Bereichen Motor, Getriebe und Fahrwerk sowie zur Hybridisierung und Elektromobilit t. Am 3. und 4. April findet diese Kundenveranstaltung bereits zum zehnten Mal und mit der Rekordteilnehmerzahl von 810 Ingenieuren und Technikern aus der Automobilindustrie statt.
Das Thema Mobilit t f r morgen bildet den roten Faden f r die Veranstaltung. Schaeffler Entwicklungsvorstand Prof. Peter Gutzmer zeigt die unterschiedlichen Anforderungen auf, die in den verschiedenen Regionen der Erde an die Mobilit t gestellt werden. Neben der Arbeit in Forschung und Entwicklung bildet daf r auch eine umfassende hauseigene Mobilit tsstudie eine belastbare Grundlage. Es wird einen Paradigmenwechsel in der Autoindustrie geben , sagt Prof. Peter Gutzmer. Themen wie Effizienzsteigerung und fortschreitende Elektrifizierung des Antriebsstrangs, automatisiertes und teilautomatisiertes Fahren sowie die Integration in Informationsnetzwerke werden die automobile Zukunft bestimmen. Zudem wird die L sungsvielfalt weltweit zunehmend komplexer. Und auch die Mobilit tsmuster ver ndern sich rasant. Aber auch in Zukunft fahren Autos nicht virtuell. Der verbrennungsmotorische Antriebsstrang wird noch ber lange Zeit dominierend sein und in Verbindung mit Hybrid neue St rken ausspielen. Und den Getrieben kommt eine zunehmend gr ere Bedeutung zu. Sie sind das Bindeglied zwischen Verbrennungs- und Elektromotor.
Schaeffler bietet auf dem Kolloquium Antworten auf die Frage zum automobilen Antriebsstrang der Zukunft.
Variable Ventiltriebsysteme sind beispielsweise ein ma gebliches Element zur Wirkungsgradsteigerung moderner Verbrennungsmotoren. Hier liefert Schaeffler eine Bandbreite verschiedener, auf Kundenanspr che ma geschneiderter Produkte bis hin zum weltweit ersten vollvariablen, elektrohydraulischen Ventilsteuerungssystem UniAir. Dieses ist mittlerweile um Funktionen erweitert, die modernste Verbrennungsverfahren unterst tzen und eine komfortable Zylinderabschaltung erm glichen. Schaeffler Automotive Vorstand Prof. Peter Pleus erkl rt: Mit Serieneinf hrung der UniAir-Technologie begann 2009 ein neues Zeitalter der Ventilsteuerung. Die vollvariable Ventilsteuerung setzte einen neuen Ma stab f r die Technik umweltfreundlicher und zugleich dynamischer Motoren. Und durch erweiterte Steuerungsstrategien k nnen unsere Kunden weitere Optimierungspotenziale erschlie en. Neben der j ngsten Entwicklungsstufe von UniAir pr sentiert Schaeffler auf dem Kolloquium auch Gedanken zu einer rollierenden Zylinderabschaltung und serienfertige elektromechanische Nockenwellen-Phasenversteller.
Schaeffler hat die Produkte f r die zunehmende Zahl von Plug-in-Hybriden
Plug-in-Hybridfahrzeuge befinden sich auf dem Vormarsch. Und Schaeffler bietet auch f r diese sowohl von Verbrennungsmotoren als auch Elektromaschinen angetriebenen Automobile ma geschneiderte Antriebs- und Getriebel sungen - gleich ob f r sportliche wie f r berwiegend in der Stadt bewegte Fahrzeuge. Weltneuheiten sind ein getriebeintegrierter Antrieb mit Leistungsverzweigung sowie ein Range-Extender-Getriebe. Bei letzterem handelt es sich um ein Dreiganggetriebe mit integrierter elektrischer Maschine, das sich mit Verbrennungsmotoren kombinieren l sst. Das clever und kosteng nstig aufgebaute Getriebe erm glicht elektrisches Fahren im Alltag und eine bestm gliche Nutzung von Elektro- und konventionellem Antrieb , sagt Schaeffler Automotive Vorstand Norbert Indlekofer. Gleichzeitig nehmen wir dem Autofahrer die Angst, mit leerem Akku liegen zu bleiben.
Schaeffler bietet auch Produkte f r Automobilhersteller, die den vorhandenen verbrennungsmotorischen Antriebstrang um eine Plug-in-Hybridvariante erweitern wollen. Beispielsweise mit einer elektrischen Achse, die auf die spezifischen Anforderungen von Plug-in-Hybriden ausgelegt ist. Hier ist ein Zweiganggetriebe Teil des Antriebselements. Der 65 Kilowatt starke Elektromotor verf gt ber eine erheblich gesteigerte Leistungsdichte. Gegen ber der Variante des 2011 vorgestellten Konzeptfahrzeugs Schaeffler ACTIVeDRIVE ist das Gewicht der Antriebseinheit dadurch um 41 auf 79 Kilogramm gesunken. Optional l sst sich die elektrische Achse mit einer Torque Vectoring -Funktion ausstatten. Diese erh ht die Fahrzeugagilit t deutlich.
Fahrspa und Sparspa mit 48 Volt
Kosteng nstigere und effiziente Systeme f r die Hybridisierung lassen sich mit elektrischen Antrieben auf 48-Volt-Niveau darstellen. Auch hierzu pr sentiert Schaeffler auf dem Kolloquium verschiedene Ans tze. Dabei findet der Elektroantrieb seinen Platz an der Hinterachse, am Getriebe oder am Motor. Mit einer 48-Volt-Mildhybridisierung lassen sich durch Rekuperation - die Energier ckgewinnung beim Verz gern - rund f nfzehn Prozent Kraftstoff einsparen. Dar ber hinaus erm glicht eine solche Einstiegshybridisierung elektrisches Fahren bei niedrigen Geschwindigkeiten und - je nach Ausf hrung - verbessert es durch radselektive Drehmomentverteilung (sogenanntes Torque Vectoring) auch die Fahragilit t.
