New Master License Agreement: ProSiebenSat.1 Secures Upcoming Films and Series from Disney ProSiebenSat.1 customers will enjoy latest productions from Disney, Disney Pixar, Lucasfilm and Marvel Studios

The rights package includes blockbuster Captain America: Civil War and ABC Studios TV series such as Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders and Code Black

The deal secures exclusive rights for selected ABC Studios series on free TV, pay TV and SVOD

Munich, October 29, 2015. ProSiebenSat.1 and Disney Germany, Switzerland and Austria have signed a long-term master license agreement. The agreement gives ProSiebenSat.1 access to new Hollywood blockbusters and TV series from the production studios Disney, Pixar, Lucasfilm, Marvel and ABC Studios. The broadcasting rights are valid for ProSiebenSat.1 free TV stations in Germany. For the first time, the deal includes exclusive rights for ProSiebenSat.1s entire offering: In addition to free-TV licenses, the agreement also covers selected pay-TV and subscription-video-on-demand (SVOD) rights for platforms such as maxdome.

The confirmed highlights from the deal include the much anticipated Marvels Captain America: Civil War, Walt Disney Pictures live action and CGI The Jungle Book and the Disney Pixar Finding Nemo sequel Finding Dory as well as future Star Wars movies from Lucasfilm. In addition, the agreement adds to ProSiebenSat.1 Groups range of series programming: Viewers can expect exciting new ABC Studios TV series, including the crime drama Quantico, the medical drama series Code Black, and the spin-off of Criminal Minds, Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders. Criminal Minds was one of the highest-rated series of 2015 on SAT.1.

The agreement also gives ProSiebenSat.1 access to the extensive Disney library with popular feature films such as Frozen and Disney Pixars Monsters, Inc.
