Ningbo achieves 4.57 billion yuan for financial revenue in 06

It is learned from Ningbo Finance Bureau and Ningbo SAT that in 2016, Ningbo achieved a total financial revenue of 214.57 billion yuan, up by 3.4% over the previous year. The local public financial income reached 111.45 billion yuan, up by 10.5%, while the public financial expenditure stood at 128.93 billion yuan, up by 2.8%.

The national tax revenue reached 135.7 billion yuan, up by 8.3%. Since the beginning of 2016, confronted with the severe economic situation home and abroad, the taxation departments at all levels in Ningbo have played a positive role in promoting the sustainable and healthy development of economy by carrying out the reforms for the national taxation and local taxation systems as well as those for the budget control system. The local taxation departments achieved a total tax revenue of 64.94 billion yuan, up by 8.3%.

Meanwhile, all the tax departments have actively promoted various kinds of reforms on tax levying, and carried out the structural tax reduction and general tax reduction policies, which has helped to reduce the tax burden of micro and small enterprises, high-tech enterprises and enterprises in need. By optimizing the expense structure, the departments have focused on guaranteeing the expenses in such peoples livelihood fields as education and medicine, social security and employment, and public traffic, and those for some major projects.

In 2016, by carrying out the replacement of the business tax with the value-added tax, deepening the tax levying system reform, implementing the CTAIS and optimizing the tax service quality, the municipal SAT departments have improved their tax levying quality in line with the "one belt one road" strategy and the construction of the Yangtze River economic belt. The SAT departments have realized the reform dividend and promoted the local economic transformation and upgrading by actively simplifying the tax levying procedures and implementing the concessional tax policies in encouraging employment and investment, supporting strategic emerging industries and supporting high-tech industries
