At BVE 2016, Facilis (Stand R06), a leading international supplier of cost-effective, high performance shared storage systems and dynamic workflow solutions for the film, broadcast and AV markets, will showcase the latest enhancements to its TerraBlock shared storage system for content creation and post production. Facilis will exhibit at BVE together with its EMEA channel partner, Polar Graphics.

In a strategically important move, Facilis will showcase new SSD (Solid State Drive) technology, which it has incorporated in various ways within its flagship TerraBlock system. The company reports that amongst other advantages, the integration of SSD technology significantly increases the available shared bandwidth for heavy 4K production workflows.

In another key move for Facilis within the competitive media production storage market, it has announced a strategic initiative aimed at driving down the cost of scaling capacity, thereby making TerraBlock accessible to the broadest range of broadcast and corporate users.
