The Premier League clubs today voted to establish a new in-house media-operations business that will launch for the start of the 2026-27 season. Under the plan, the Premier League will bring all international media-content production and distribution in-house. For 20 years, this service has been provided in partnership with IMG, operating as Premier League Productions (PLP).

Further details regarding the Premier League in-house media-operations business will be announced in due course, prior to its launch in 2026.

Since 2004, PLP has been the gateway to the action and emotion of Premier League football for broadcasters and hundreds of millions of fans in more than 180 countries. Throughout this time, Premier League and IMG have worked together to bring quality and innovation in live events production, pioneering new technologies and on-screen talent to provide full coverage of all 380 league matches each season, as well as wide-ranging support programming.

In its current form, PLP delivers 6,000 hours of content per season to the Premier League's 55 international broadcast partners, covering 189 markets around the world. In addition to full coverage of the season's 380 matches, Premier League Productions provides a 24/7 content service and other support programming, including long-form content, such as magazine shows.

The two organizations will continue to deliver the next two Premier League seasons to broadcasters and remain committed to providing a first-class viewing experience for fans around the world.
