
Record-breaking magic show to bow out with fourth series Dynamo: It feels right I want to leave people wanting more TX: 4 September 2014 9pm only on Watch UKTV's flagship entertainment channel, Watch, today announced that world-famous magician Dynamo will complete his international hit television series Dynamo: Magician Impossible in this fourth and final series.
The new series, which premieres on Watch on 4 September at 9pm features One Direction and Coldplay and travels across the world from the US to Europe and India before returning to the north of England, where Dynamo's story first began.
Dynamo, whose real name is Steven Frayne, said,
It is the final series of Magician Impossible. It feels right. There have been so many amazing TV shows that I think could have finished a bit earlier and kept the mystique. As much as I'd love to keep making more episodes and keep it going on forever, I want to leave people wanting more.

I think we've absolutely pushed and changed the magic landscape over the past three series and the fourth is our best yet. We've managed to do some incredible things in that time period, but you can't keep doing the same thing forever. Dynamo emerged as a star after Dynamo: Magician Impossible became a huge hit, with the series reaching over 30 million viewers in the UK to date and over 250 million viewers worldwide. The series has received much critical acclaim being the first digital programme to win Best Entertainment Programme two years running at the Broadcast Awards. Dynamo: Magician Impossible also won TV Show of The Year as voted by viewers at the Virgin Media Awards and Best Multichannel Programme at the 2013 Broadcasting Press Guild Awards. It has been nominated for BAFTAs and a National Television Award.
Dynamo's worldwide social following has continued to grow as his 2.2 million Twitter followers and 4.1m Facebook fans, making him the most followed magician in the world.
UKTV's Watch has enjoyed a strong start to 2014 with adult share up 13% year-on-year. More than 14m individuals tune into the channel every month, helping to make UKTV the fastest growing non-PSB broadcaster in Britain. UKTV's award-winning network of 10 channels reaches over 42 million viewers a month.
