Primestream, a specialist in asset management and automation software, named David Schleifer its chief operating officer. As COO, Schleifer will be responsible for the Company's worldwide operations. He will report directly to president and chief executive officer Claudio Lisman.
David is an experienced and trusted leader who has consistently delivered results. He is uniquely qualified to drive strategic prioritization and accountability within Primestream, preparing us for our next stage of growth, said Claudio Lisman, president and CEO, Primestream. I have tremendous confidence in David's ability to align Primestream's world-class innovation with industry-leading operational practices in order to continue growing Primestream's market leadership.
Effective immediately, Schleifer will assume responsibility of the company's worldwide sales, marketing, engineering and operations. Schleifer will be responsible for the alignment and prioritization of the company, ensuring operational excellence across the company.
Schleifer brings more than 25 years of experience managing teams and projects that have brought innovative, profitable software and technology to the media and entertainment market. His background includes the implementation of all aspects of business planning for broadcast, storage, 3D animation, video editing, and asset management products across broadcast, government and education markets. At Avid Technology, he oversaw the broadcast business unit, growing it by 650% during his tenure, delivering many award-winning products along the way.
