DE GLOEDNIEUWE TV-SERIE HET REGENT GEHAKTBALLEN GAAT OP 18 SEPTEMBER OM 17:35 UUR IN PREMIERE OP CARTOON NETWORK
Gebaseerd op de veelgeprezen franchise film van Sony Pictures Animation
Het Regent Gehaktballen is vanaf 18 september exclusief te zien bij Cartoon Network
Maak je klaar voor een verrukkelijk komisch avontuur! De gloednieuwe TV-serie Het Regent Gehaktballen gaat op 18 september om 17:35 uur in premi re op Cartoon Network. De TV-serie is gebaseerd op de twee animatiefilms van Sony Pictures Animation: Het Regent Gehaktballen uit 2009 en Het Regent Gehaktballen 2 uit 2013. De TV-versie van deze twee wereldwijde hits wordt geproduceerd door DHX Media en Sony Pictures Animation, in samenwerking met Corus Entertainment.
In de gloednieuwe Het Regent Gehaktballen volgen we Flint Lockwood: een tiener met grote dromen om een serieuze wetenschapper te worden. Met zijn uitvindingen wil Flint ooit de wereld veranderen en niet alles in zijn gezicht laten exploderen. Flint lijdt aan NVD: Niet Vis-gerelateerde Dromen. Dit komt niet erg goed uit aangezien hij in Swallow Falls leeft, een blauwgekleurd dorp waar alles draait om de verkoop van sardientjes
In de TV-serie ontbreekt ook film-favoriet Sam Sparks niet. Sam is een nieuw meisje in de stad, ze wil meteoroloog worden en wordt al snel Flint's beste vriendin. Samen beleven Flint en Sam als twee buitenstaanders hilarische avonturen en delen zij dezelfde droom: hun mede Swallow Fallians helpen door het bedenken van betrouwbare uitvindingen, die beter moeten zijn dan sardientjes toch?!
Ook alle andere geliefde personages uit de film zijn terug, zoals: Flint's vader Tim, een man van weinig woorden en nog minder expressie; Steve de aap, Flint's sidekick en totaal onbetrouwbare lab-assistent; Burgemeester Shelbourne, de man die zijn laatste salaris heeft verdiend aan een pro-sardines platform; Brent, een lokale beroemdheid die rondloopt in baby kleding terwijl hij een tiener is; Earl, die geen politieagent is, maar veel harder optreedt als gymleraar en tot slot Manny, de schrikbarend bekwame jongen die niet alleen de audiovisuele afdeling van de school runt, maar ook alles wat hij verder aanraakt.
Het Regent Gehaktballen is vanaf 18 september om 17:35 uur te zien op Cartoon Network.
