SAFTAs 12 Hosts Announced

With only two days to go, SAFTAs 12 is proud to announce the official hosts for this year's show. The first night of the awards, 22nd March 2018, will be hosted by renowned host, Phat Joe, and, making a comeback for night 2, on the 24th of March 2018, is the vibrant Thando Thabethe.

Phat Joe is a radio DJ and television host. Thando Thabethe is a radio and television presenter, actress and club DJ.

Commenting on his appointment, Phat Joe said, I'm honoured to be selected as the SAFTAs 12 co-host. I am sure Thando and I will bring magic to the SAFTAs 12 stage.

Hosting the SAFTAs was one of the highlights in my career and I am grateful to the SAFTAs for requesting my return as a host, says Thando Thabethe.

The red carpet will be covered by seasoned media personality, Kuli Roberts, joined by the talented Rorisang Thandekiso.

Audiences can watch the live show on Saturday, 24th March 2018 on SABC 2 at 19h30 for the red carpet and 20h00 for the live show. Viewers are encourage to keep voting for the Most Popular TV Soap/Telenovela and the Best TV Presenter by sending an SMS with the code to 48430. Each SMS is charged at R1.50. Free SMSs do not apply.
