(21/11/2013) Fischer Connectors, a worldwide leader in circular push-pull connectors, extended its popular Fischer UltiMate Series product range with the introduction of the size 07. This brand new connector is smaller, more compact and lighter than the other UltiMate sizes yet withstands the same stringent requirements and is therefore perfectly suitable for harsh and extreme environments.
The Fischer UltiMate Series is already very well-known as connecting solution for applications and devices that have to perform in difficult conditions for example in the military and medical fields or in car and boat racing. With this new size 07 in its product range, Fischer Connectors continues its focus on miniaturization, initiated with the Fischer MiniMax Series. With plug and receptacle diameters starting at 12mm, the Fischer UltiMate Series 07 is available in a 2 to 9 contact configuration. This allows designers to create smaller devices with more connections and more functionalities, with optimized space and performance.

This new extension makes the Fischer UltiMate Series complete, as there is a much wider choice now both in sizes and pin configurations.'
The Fischer UltiMate Series is sealed IP68/69 mated and unmated and has a high corrosion resistance of 1,000 hours. Combined with the 360 EMC shielding, the guaranteed 10,000 mating cycles and an operating temperature from -55 C to +135 C, it is the right choice for extreme environment applications because this solution requires less maintenance, is cost effective and slow aging.
The Fischer UltiMate Series is now available in five sizes (07, 08, 11, 13 and 18) and in configurations up to 42 pins. Cable assembly solutions are available in both straight and right angle overmolding with fast prototyping. For ultimate protection of unmated connectors in the field, soft caps, bend reliefs and other accessories are available for all sizes, together with a wide range of tools.
