The HbbTV improves the efficiency of journalistic message and advertising El I Congreso sobre Banda Ancha y Contenidos Digitales en Cantabria analiza el impacto del est ndar de televisi n h brida HbbTv tanto en los contenidos como en la publicidad.
La optimizaci n de los resultados comunicativos gracias al HbbTV (Hybrid broadcast broadband TV) y la necesidad de banda ancha garantizada para empresas y particulares son las principales conclusiones del I Conference on Broadband and Digital Content en Cantabria-2019, que se llev a cabo el 24 y 25 de enero de 2019 celebrado en el Auditorio Cesine de Santander organizado por el Centro de Estudios sobre el Cable (CECABLE) and the Cesine University Center con la colaboraci n de Blanquerna-Universidad Ramon Llull.
El evento, dentro del plan nacional Nuevas Formas de Publicidad Interactiva en Televisi n, Internet y los Medios Digitales. Aplicaciones Reales en HbbTV, financiado por el Ministerio de Econom a, Industria y Competitividad, reflej los beneficios de la interactividad en comunicaci n y telecomunicaciones.
Gracias al HbbTV conseguimos reaprovechar el tiempo destinado tradicionalmente a zapping, mejoramos el porcentaje de Click Through Rate (CTR) de los anuncios y prolongamos el tiempo de permanencia del espectador en programas y anuncios , explica el director de CECABLE y profesor titular de Universidad, Joan Francesc Fondevila Gasc n, profesor investigador de Cesine.
De hecho, el HbbTV es una s ntesis de los avances en el audiovisual, ya que a na digitalizaci n, convergencia, interactividad y cloud journalism, es decir, satisface la necesidad de un flujo constante de contenidos, sobre todo multimedia , a ade Fondevila. Como ventaja con relaci n al concepto de Smart TV, el nuevo est ndar a ade una capa de informaci n digital (contenidos a la carta) y confiere autonom a a cada canal. El lanzamiento en Espa a, a finales de 2018, de LovesTv, plataforma impulsada por Atresmedia, Mediaset y RTVE, demuestra la apuesta decidida por el HbbTV.
Diversas investigaciones cient ficas que hemos llevado a cabo reflejan las aplicaciones del HbbTV en comunicaci n y educaci n. Los resultados emp ricos sobre televisi n muestran que el espectador mantiene en general su atenci n gracias a la interactividad y reh sa apostar por el zapping; se alcanzan CTR medios muy superiores a los de Internet, llegando al 6%; y el Committed Visitor Volume (CVV) del espectador se dispara, lo que facilita su fidelizaci n , analiza Fondevila.
Tambi n hemos constatado que la industria audiovisual considera que, a efectos de impacto publicitario, se debe considerar conjuntamente el tiempo dedicado al anuncio en su versi n audiovisual y su prolongaci n a Internet, pero legalmente habr a que deslindar ese tiempo complementario a efectos de cumplir las m ximos publicitarios establecidos', alerta Fondevila, que pone nfasis en el vac o legal en ese campo: es urgente una normativa clara al respecto .
El evento dej de manifiesto la necesidad de banda ancha para el HbbTV y para aplicaciones empresariales y dom sticas. De hecho, se analizaron indicadores estrat gicos del periodismo, la publicidad, la econom a digital y las telecomunicaciones, como las opciones intr nsecas al comercio electr nico, la expansi n del HbbTV, la evoluci n de las diversas modalidades tecnol gicas de banda ancha y la relaci n entre los contenidos period sticos y publicitarios y el receptor.
Adem s de las universidades, en el evento participaron y colaboraron, entre otras entidades, el Gobierno de Cantabria, el Ayuntamiento de Santander, Comisi n Nacional de los Mercados y la Competencia (CNMC), Federaci n Coordinadora de Telecomunicaciones (FECOTEL), Federaci n Nacional de Empresarios de Instalaciones de Espa a (Fenie), Red.es, Asociaci n Nacional de Operadores de Telecomunicaciones y Servicios de Internet (AOTEC), Asociaci n Nacional de Empresas de Internet (ANEI), Asociaci n para el Progreso de la Direcci n (APD), Ametic, Asociaci n de Empresas Operadoras y de Servicios de Telecomunicaciones (Astel), Centro Nacional de Referencia de Aplicaci n de las Tecnolog as de la Informaci n y la Comunicaci n TIC (CENATIC), Dopuo, e-deon, Ilimit, International Association of Technology, Education and Development (IATED) o Plataforma Fot nica 21.
Wifidom, Telef nica, BT Global Services, Indra, Instituto Espa ol de Oceanograf a, NetCan y Phicus Tecnolog a reflejaron el estado saludable de la banda ancha en Cantabria. Phicus, centrada en ingenier a, desarrollo e integraci n de soluciones de alto valor tecnol gico para operadores, expuso la soluci n Krill, sistema de provisi n multi-vendor de redes de acceso GPON, DOCSIS y WiMAX, monitorizaci n y chequeo de red desde la ltima milla hasta el backbone y auditor a de red. La lista de CPE (terminales de usuario) provisionados se adapta al sector y el dise o de cada red se optimiza con nuevos servicios, con el fin de adaptar al operador a los nuevos retos tecnol gicos y necesidades del mercado.
