American Tobacco hosted an Opening Day event for tenants to celebrate the Durham Bulls 2017 Season Home Opener on Monday, April 10.
On Monday April 10, 2017, the American Tobacco Campus provided an out of the park experience for their tenants. ATC wanted to give them the experience of opening day at the Durham Bulls with a little action, food and fun.
ATC partnered with Thrills from the Grill and Party Reflections to create a great atmosphere and provide hot dogs with all the fixins', an inflatable batting cage game, prizes for the first 100 guests (that included Bulls Bucks, Cans of Bull Durham Beer, Mini baseball stress balls and yummy Durham Bulls Lollipops).
ATC Events also had a great baseball throwback and had Cracker Jack boxes for all attendees (300!). The weather was picture perfect with clear skies and a great 80 degrees. Tenants enjoyed sitting on the lawn or eating at one of the picnic tables complete with peanuts in the shell. ATC Event staffers had help from ATC Director of Security and Parking Frank Gore and ATC Assistant Property Manager Rodney Collier with our popcorn station where we handled out complimentary popcorn to match perfectly with a charcoal grilled hot dog.
Wool E. Bull made an appearance midway through and with his antics and personality, really got people excited and made for some great photo ops.
The afternoon was a home run for everyone and definitely threw some excitement in the air with the opening home game just a few hours away!
