Scandinavian system integrator Exton has acquired Broadcast Systems Integration BTS GmbH in

Germany for an undisclosed fee.

We believe BTS is a good fit for our growth, says Exton CEO Sverrir Hreidarsson. Broadcasting is a mission critical business where customers appreciate the added value that comes with

dedication to quality, innovation and service. BTS is an internationally experienced and innovative

systems integrator offering high quality OB Vans and Studio solutions. A strong brand with customers throughout Europe,the Middle East and Asia. Now their services will be represented in Scandinavia too.

Originally, a system integrator for large venues Exton has been growing its broadcast services in recent years and is currently Grass Valleys Channel Partner in Denmark,Norway and Iceland.

BTS is excited to become part of the Exton family of companies, remarks Mr. Ewald Fehlauer, CEO of BTS. While we offer new and additional services to Extons arsenal in the North, we likewise gain from their quality and expertise in broadcast sound and lighting,areas traditionally not serviced by BTS. 2014 will be a very exciting year with numerous opportunities in the Middle East and Asia as well as our own backyard.

Although we continue operation of both brands, the companies complement each other and may of course join forces on tenders and projects, concludes Mr. Hreidarsson.
