Native Content today announced that acclaimed director Eivind Holmboe has joined its directorial roster for U.S. representation. With a global portfolio and over 15 years behind the camera, Holmboe's work has been honored by Cannes Lions, Clio, D&AD, and Creative Circle.
Born and raised in Norway, Holmboe began his career on the agency side after attending art school in San Francisco. He worked as a creative at David & Goliath, Leo Burnett, and Deutsch on international accounts including McDonald's and Visa before transitioning to directing. As a director he has crafted memorable spots for leading brands including Volkswagen, TiVo, Vodafone, Budweiser, PlayStation, Corona, Coca-Cola, Pepsi, Audi, and many more, working with leading production companies in the U.S. and Europe such as @radical.media and most recently B-Reel. Holmboe currently lives in Spain, where he co-owns local boutique production company Fish Films. In addition to commercials, he wrote and directed short film A Tooth For An Eye which received accolades from over 30 festivals worldwide, and he is currently in development as both screenwriter and director on feature film Some Kind of Fairytale.
Eivind is a truly hands-on director who cultivates the soul of a story, and he's comfortable working anywhere in the world and speaking to any audience, commented Native founder Tomer DeVito. As a shop owner himself, he understands all sides of the business. He'll be a stellar addition to our roster and we're glad to welcome him to the family.
