
The new season of Vis a vis will be produced by Globomedia and Fox Networks Group Espa a La serie original de Atresmedia emprende una nueva etapa en el pago y se estrenar en Fox en 2018. Se trata de la primera incursi n de FNG Espa a en la producci n de ficci n.
Fox Networks Group (FNG) Espa a, Atresmedia, y Globomedia (grupo Mediapro) han alcanzado un acuerdo para la producci n de la tercera temporada de Vis Vis, que se estrenar en Fox. De esta forma, la serie que cerr en Antena 3 exitosamente su ciclo de vida en la televisi n en abierto en 2016, emprende ahora una nueva etapa en el pago de la mano de Fox Networks Group (FNG) Espa a que coproducir junto a Globomedia los nuevos cap tulos.
La serie obtuvo gran xito de cr tica, premios y p blico durante su emisi n en abierto en Antena 3. En la actualidad, el thriller carcelario cuenta con una relevante comunidad de seguidores deseosos de saber qu va a ser de las presas recluidas en Cruz del Sur. Este anhelo se har realidad ahora gracias al compromiso entre las tres compa as para el estreno de nuevos episodios de la serie en exclusiva en Fox durante el primer semestre de 2018. Dicho acuerdo incluye los derechos en Espa a y Portugal para Fox Network Group. Esta temporada ser capitaneada por Iv n Escobar como showrunner de la serie como creador de las dos primeras entregas.
La tercera temporada de Vis Vis es la primera incursi n en la producci n propia de ficci n de FNG Espa a. La compa a ya se hab a embarcado en proyectos locales para el canal FOX Life con t tulos como Yo s que como o Fit Life, pero acariciaba desde hace tiempo el deseo de saltar al lado de la ficci n con FOX, n mero uno del ranking de audiencias en televisi n de pago y canal de referencia de entretenimiento de ficci n en Espa a, donde ha sido responsable del estreno de t tulos de relevancia global como The Walking Dead, Prison Break, Homeland, American Horror Story, Expediente X, The Americans, Anatom a de Grey, Perdidos, House, todos ellos garant a de xito y calidad y que encajan muy bien con el estilo narrativo de Vis Vis.
Nuevos modelos de explotaci n
Para Atresmedia, esta operaci n supone la consolidaci n de la nueva fase de su modelo de explotaci n de sus series. As el grupo audiovisual logra alargar el ciclo de vida de uno de los productos m s valorados de su sello Series Atresmedia.
Vis Vis naci de la exitosa relaci n entre Atresmedia y Globomedia estren ndose en 2015 en el prime time de Antena 3. La cadena fue la plataforma de lanzamiento perfecta para esta serie que obtuvo m s de tres millones de espectadores de media durante su emisi n. Ambas Compa as apostaban entonces por esta ficci n tan arriesgada y diferente. Todo un salto para la ficci n espa ola. Gracias a este xito, Vis Vis se ha convertido en una marca m s all de la producci n televisa con alta capacidad para fidelizar.
Interpretada por un grupo de actrices en estado de gracia, entre las que se incluyen Maggie Civantos, Najwa Nimri, Berta V zquez, Alba Flores, Cristina Plazas, Inma Cuevas, Mar a Isabel D az Lago, Marta Aledo y Laura Baena, la serie narra la complicada convivencia de un heterog neo grupo de mujeres dentro de un penal. La mayor a de los int rpretes de la serie original participar n en esta nueva entrega, incluidas todas las actrices mencionadas.
Adem s, la repercusi n generada ha consolidado a Vis Vis en un fen meno viral excepcional, que ha traspasado la peque a pantalla y se ha extendido por redes sociales de la mano de la ya conocida como Marea Amarilla, donde los fans han mostrado su pasi n por esta ficci n.

El proyecto hace realidad nuestra voluntad de producir ficci n en Espa a, que hemos reiterado en repetidas ocasiones, pero que necesitaba contar con el proyecto y los aliados adecuados.
