Real-time broadcast graphics workflow with XPression 8.5 and Epoch | 4K Neutron
Bluefish444, manufacturer of the professional video industry's highest-quality uncompressed 4K SDI, ASI, Video Over IP & HDMI I/O cards and mini converters, announces new support for Bluefish444 Epoch video cards with Ross Video XPressions upcoming version 8.5 release.
Ross Video XPression is the fastest growing real-time motion graphics generation system in the industry today. With lightning-quick access to content with no input lag between keypress and response, clean easy to use interfaces, and allowing for full scalability depending on requirements, XPression is truly a platform to suit any broadcast graphics workflow.
For the Bluefish444 Epoch range, Ross Video have implemented 3G/HD SDI Fill/Key output and Fill input with embedded audio, auxiliary genlock as SDI input or free-running reference, and a watchdog timer to relay the input to output on failure. These features give XPression customers the ability to use Epoch's industry proven stability, lowest latency and highest quality SDI video I/O for their real-time broadcast graphics workflow.

Ross Video will have their latest XPression version 8.5 on show on stand 11.C10 at IBC2018.
Our broadcast graphics customer base has been long been demanding support for Ross Video XPression, said Craige Mott Managing Director. Initially we are supporting Xpression with traditional 3G/HD SDI Fill and Key, however, we plan to work with Ross engineers in the not too distant future to add support for 4K HFR SDI and SMPTE Video Over IP standards.
