Der Industriebereich von Schaeffler Indien beliefert alle wichtigen Industriebranchen wie beispielsweise Motorrad, Landtechnik, Baumaschinen, Elektromaschinen, Windkraft, Fluidtechnik, F rderanlagen, Industriegetriebe, Bergbau und Zement, Energieerzeugung, Stahl, Textil- und Werkzeugmaschinen, Papier und Zellstoff. Indien ist der zweitgr te Markt f r Zweir der mit einer Jahresproduktion von 18 Millionen St ck, von denen ber 90% kleiner als 150 CC sind. Energieeffiziente, wirtschaftliche und langlebige Komponenten sind hier besonders gefragt. Bahn und erneuerbare Energien
Indian Railways transportiert mehr als 9 Mrd. Personen und ber eine Billion Tonnen Fracht pro Jahr. Vor kurzem gab die Regierung die Entwicklung spezieller Frachtkorridore bekannt, die eine hohe Geschwindigkeit, hohe Tragf higkeit und verbesserte Betriebssicherheit erfordern. Seit der Gr ndung von FAG Indien ist Indian Railways ein wichtiger Kunde und FAG ist mit seiner starken lokalen Pr senz ein zuverl ssiger Entwicklungspartner und Zulieferer, beispielsweise f r Radsatzlager, Fahrmotoren- und Getriebelager.
In Hinblick auf die in Indien vorhandenen lokalen und globalen Gro kunden unterst tzt die neue Regierung die Entwicklung erneuerbarer Energien. Schaeffler Indien bietet eine komplette Produktpalette von Hauptwellen- und Getriebelagern f r Windkraftanwendungen. Gro lager mit Au endurchmessern von bis zu einem Meter werden vor Ort im Werk Savli gefertigt.
Als Teil des Schaeffler Global Technology Network wurde der Schaeffler-Standort in Vadodara als Schaeffler Technology Center (STC) zertifiziert. STC sind lokale technische Kompetenzzentren in den Regionen. Mit hochqualifizierten Ingenieuren und einem breiten Serviceangebot verfolgt Schaeffler seinen Anspruch, allen Kunden weltweit einen einheitlich hohen Servicestandard zu bieten.
