The much-loved reality series, Love Island is returning to South Africa for one season in 2023! The reality show's producers will be headed to South Africa in January next year to film the United Kingdom edition of the show to soak in Mzansi's summer season!

LOVE ISLAND' 2023 The Love Island winter series hit South African shores in January 2020, just before the COVID-19 pandemic. The villa was situated in the leafy suburbs of Constantia, Cape Town and the series was won by Paige Turley and Finn Tap, who are still together as a couple.
Speaking to the Daily Mail, director of reality commissioning and controller at ITV2, Paul Mortimer said Love Island has proven to be one of the United Kingdom's favourite talking points in the summer.

So, rather than just serving up a Summer of Love, we thought we'd make 2023 the Year of Love with two full series of the show, added Mortimer.
LOVE ISLAND' RETURNS TO SOUTH AFRICA Executive producer at Lifted Entertainment, Mike Spencer, said the production company is excited to return to South Africa.
After eight brilliant series, we are excited to be serving up two helpings of love in 2023 by kicking off in January at a stunning new villa in South Africa. We can look forward to more romances, bromances and everything in between as we embark on another epic year of love, said Spencer.
The first season of Love Island South Africa premiered in February 2021, will there be a second season soon?

CAPE TOWN VILLA The 2020 Love Island villa was listed on the market in 2021 for R105 million. The home has been used for various film shoots including Black Mirror, Kissing Booth, Resident Evil and Origin.
Speaking to Property24 on the luxury villa Amazing Spaces Lifestyle Investments co-founder, Julia Finnis-Bedford said investing in famous real estate is similar to investing in rare artwork.
The two share a deep connection in that they are united by design, their designers and their individual meanings, said Finnis-Bedford.
