Berklee Online to Hold 2024 Berklee Onsite Music Conference May 31-June 1 The in-person conference is open to Berklee Online students and the music community at large.

Berklee Online will hold its seventh annual Berklee Onsite conference at Berklee College of Musics campus in Boston, May 31-June 1. Berklee Onsite 2024 is two days of workshops, panels, performances, and networking events, open to Berklee Online students and the music community at large.

We're thrilled to be hosting Berklee Onsite once again, says Debbie Cavalier, Berklee Onlines CEO and cofounder. It's such an important part of our online students' experience to make the trip to Boston and spend time with the community that they're a part of. We have some incredible speakers and performers lined up and it's guaranteed to be a great time for everyone.

Last year, Berklee Onsite welcomed nearly 300 attendees representing close to 30 countries and 40 U.S. states. The conference began as a way to give Berklee's online students the opportunity to meet their instructors and advisors in person while visiting Berklee College of Musics campus, but has since expanded to welcome anyone interested in attending.

Registration will remain open until the first day of the conference on May 31.

This year's sessions include:

The Billboard Hot 100 Is Your Toolbox with Prince Charles Alexander, Berklee professor and former recording engineer for Bad Boy Records, whose clients included Mary J. Blige, Destiny's Child, the Notorious B.I.G., and others.

The Songwriting of Taylor Swift with Scarlet Keys, a professor in the Songwriting Department at Berklee for the past 15 years. Keys has taught students including Laufey, Lizzy McAlpine, Charlie Puth, Amy Allen, and many more.

AI in Music: A Comprehensive Exploration of Its Transformative Impact with Carlos Arana, a guitarist, producer, and researcher who studies artificial intelligence and music education.

The Ron Savage Trio (led by Vice President and Executive Director Ron Savage) will open the first day of the conference with a special performance, followed by an opening keynote address from Tonya Butler, chair of the Music Business/Management Department.
