CSP Mobile Announces New HD4 Truck with Ikegami HDK-95C HD Cameras

The newest member of CSP Mobiles fleet of mobile production trucks, HD4, will have a familiar name on board: Ikegami. The 53-foot expando truck is set to debut in November and will be rolling with 10 new Ikegami HDK-95C full digital HDTV portable CMOS camera systems, ready to cover a full schedule of professional and college sports, HD broadcast and cable production.

CSP Mobiles choice of the HDK-95C follows last years launch of their HD2 mobile production unit, which travels with 10 Ikegami HDK-77EC HD Native Multi-Format CMOS cameras. Part of Ikegamis Unicam HD camera series, the HDK-95C now provides CSP Mobile with the same precision CMOS imagery, plus a direct upgrade path to the 3G format.

Weve been extremely happy with our Ikegami HD-77ECs, and we felt that the HDK-95C represented the next generation of HD camera, says Len Chase, President/Co-Owner of CSP Mobile Productions. The HDK-95C HD portable digital camera is a highly flexible new addition to Ikegamis Unicam HD line. Equipped with Native multi-format 2.5 million pixel, 2/3 inch CMOS sensors, the HDK-95C has an upgrade path to 24p and 3G formats, including 1080/60p and 4:4:4 24p. Providing end-to-end digital processing, it features a low-profile docking camera head for fiber, triax, or wireless applications.

Little Bay Broadcast Services will be the integrator for HD4. They were also the integrator for CSP Mobiles HD1 and HD2, both of which are equipped with Ikegami cameras.
