Cinedigm Names Dan Sherlock President of Software LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Cinedigm Digital Cinema Corp. (NASDAQ: CIDM) today announced Dan Sherlock has been named President of Cinedigm Software. Sherlock will report to Cinedigm COO/CFO Adam Mizel and will be responsible for all aspects of the operations at Cinedigm Software including production, technology, business development, sales, and marketing.

Most recently, Sherlock was president of Baseline, a comprehensive film and television database with a robust subscription and syndicated content client base comprised of all the major studios, agencies, production companies, and some of the largest fortune 500 companies owned by The New York Times Company. Previously, Sherlock held numerous executive roles with The Walt Disney Company, most recently as Vice President and General Manager of Movies.com.

With both technical and marketing expertise, Dan is perfectly suited to lead and grow our robust software business, said Cinedigms Mizel. In recent months, Cinedigms software group (previously known as Hollywood Software) has made several other high profile hires including Larry McCourt and Rob Springer, who joined Cinedigm as Senior Vice President of Software and Sales Marketing and Senior Vice President and Product Manager of Distributor Solutions, respectively.

Cinedigm has the leading digital cinema software for both exhibitors and distributors. TDS-g Theatrical Distribution System Global The most advanced theatrical distribution software available for worldwide markets and the only product capable of managing distribution across multiple territories from a single application. All data relating to plans, bookings, terms, box office, settlements and payments are contained within a single database, enabling powerful consolidated reporting and analysis. TDSg operates in any language and currency.

EMS Exhibitor Management System With planning, payment and analytic components, EMS is a virtual staff of booking assistants and accountants which consolidates POS sales data, computes film rental liabilities, manages payments and updates financial systems. Featuring a dynamic SQL database application designed to fully record, track and report on critical business details, EMSs modular design can manage operations from planning through payments, or specific tasks in between.
