
HP to Help Drive Aimia's Globalization and Business Expansion Through New IT ServicesHP chosen as Aimia's global IT transformation partner delivering private cloud and applications services
PALO ALTO, Calif., May 14, 2015 HP today announced that it has been selected by leading data driven marketing and loyalty analytics company Aimia to help achieve its goal of delivering more agile, secure and scalable environments for both internal and client facing IT operations.
Under the ten-year contract, HP will support Aimia's business by consolidating and virtualizing its IT infrastructure on the HP HelionManaged Virtual Private Cloud environment and introducing an optimized applications development and support management model. As a result of consolidating and standardizing the technical landscape and providing a globally consistent delivery platform, HP will enable Aimia to continue to expand its data-driven marketing and loyalty analytics services worldwide.
The combination of Aimia's industry leading products, platforms and insights and HP's global infrastructure technologies and application expertise will assist Aimia in enabling our business strategy and provide enhanced services to our customers , said Harry Pickett, Global CIO of Aimia. Today's announcement is about positioning Aimia to win today, and in the future, by focusing on what we do best. In selecting HP, a world-class supplier, we are ensuring that we will have a robust, secure and flexible infrastructure that will enable us to succeed at scale.
As well as transforming Aimia's multiple IT platforms, HP will migrate the overall environment to an Infrastructure-as-a-Service model.
In addition to application management services today, we are also looking to bring the best of HP's data management services to augment Aimia's own market leading capabilities, said Eric Harmon, senior vice president, Global Practices and Transformation, HP Enterprise Services. Transforming the provisioning of data centre services globally will provide Aimia with a solid foundation to support its growth strategy Aimia's customer loyalty expertise is combining with HP's Enterprise Services and HP Helion portfolio to deliver a stronger product and services capabilities for customers.
