El viernes 7 de octubre el Centro Universitario de Tecnolog a y Arte Digital organiza la jornada What is seen and what is not.
Este 2016 est siendo el a o del boom de la realidad virtual, pero el protagonismo no es de toda la realidad virtual, sino m s bien de todo lo que rodea al sentido de la vista.
En este evento se quiere dar protagonismo a otros sentidos m s olvidados y a experiencias inmersivas que combinan diferentes dispositivos. Te has parado a pensar las inmensas posibilidades que tiene el tacto dentro de la realidad virtual? Y no solamente lo percibido en las terminaciones nerviosas de los dedos, sino en la propia piel a trav s del viento, fr o, calor, Y el olor? Sentir la naturaleza, los diferentes ambientes No todo es lo que el ojo ve, pero todo complementa y enfatiza lo que el ojo ve.
What is seen and what is not est dividido en dos bloques de ponencias, junto con una zona de experiencias.
La primera parte (de 16.00 a 17.45 horas) estar dedicada a lo que no se ve . Laura Raya, directora del M ster Universitario en Computaci n Gr fica y Simulaci n y del programa Experto en Desarrollo para Realidad Virtual y Aumentada en U-tad abrir la jornada con una introducci n al tacto virtual.
A continuaci n, Luis Castillo, fundador y CEO en NeuroDigital Technologies, intervendr con la ponencia Virtual reality in your hands, mientras que Ra l Porcar, fundador y CEO en Olorama Technology, se centrar en la sincronizaci n de olores en experiencias audiovisuales.

A partir de las 17.45 horas se abrir el bloque lo que se ve con una ponencia sobre instalaciones inmersivas en las que se potencia el poder sensorial de la realidad virtual a cargo de Jos Luis Navarro, CEO y Socio co-fundador en inMediaStudio.
Diego Bezares, profesor en el M dulo de Especializaci n en Desarrollo de Entorno Virtuales con Oculus Rift, en el programa Experto en Desarrollo para Realidad Virtual y Aumentada y en el M ster Universitario en Computaci n Gr fica y Simulaci n en U-tad cerrar el turno de presentaciones con una ponencia titulada Interactividad en escenas fotorrealistas de realidad virtual: mezclando foto y v deo con 3d a tiempo real.
En la zona de experiencias, los asistentes podr n probar en primera persona dispositivos como Olorama Technology, la cabina de teletransporte de inMediaStudio (nueva versi n), Novint Falcon o Glove One de Neurodigital.
Y para los amantes de los videojuegos en realidad virtual que quieran saber lo que se puede conseguir con una formaci n adecuada, se podr jugar con Intruders, un proyecto universitario de realidad virtual destinado a publicarse en PlayStation VR.
La jornada tendr lugar el viernes 7 de octubre de 15:30 a 20:30 horas en Madrid International Lab, calle Bail n, 41 Madrid (see floorplan).
