The TVSA Skeem Saam April teasers have revealed that John Maputla's wife Meikie Maputla will be a free woman and get released from prison.

Meikie was sentenced to 15 years in prison for the attempted murder of her husband's son Kwaito Maputla and John's baby-mama Mantuli Seakamela.

MEIKIE MAPUTLA GETS RELEASED FROM PRISON Skeem Saam's John will not be pleased when Meikie Maputla appeals her sentence and gets released from prison with the help of her lawyer - Advocate Bopape.

SKEEM SAAM : JOHN FILES FOR DIVORCE Meikie (Harriet Manamela) will not be shocked when her husband John Maputla files for divorce on Friday 29 April.

She's been expecting the news since she attempted to kill Mantuli and Kwaito and since she was sentenced to prison.

The TVSA Friday 15 April teaser reads:

Meikie reaches a calm place about the infamous D-word surprising John.

John hasn't taken responsibility for the damage he's caused in his marriage and feels no remorse.

He's cheating on Meikie at the moment with his fourth mistress - Melita while Meikie is in prison.

John's sister Joyce Maputla has also been encouraging him to file for divorce because she's always referred to Meikie as a psycho.

She feels that John (Africa Tsoai) is too good for his wife and supports her brother's infidelities.

Meikie's release from prison will also threaten his relationship with his son Kwaito - who wants her to stay in prison.

Melita and John will also have to break up when she's freed because John won't want Meikie to kill or attempt to kill again.
