Schaeffler erhht Geschftsanteil von 49 auf 100 Prozent Integration in den konzerneigenen Entwicklungsdienstleister Schaeffler Engineering geplant
IFT wird Tochterunternehmen von Schaeffler
Zum 1. Juli 2013 wird die IFT Ingenieurgesellschaft fr Triebwerkstechnik mbH eine einhundert Prozent Tochter der Schaeffler AG mit dem Plan, sie zu einem spteren Zeitpunkt in die Schaeffler Engineering GmbH zu integrieren.
Die Plne des Mutterkonzerns sehen vor, zuerst dessen Unternehmensanteil an IFT von 49 auf 100 Prozent auszubauen. Der entsprechende Kaufvertrag wurde am 19. Mrz 2013 unterschrieben. Mein Anliegen war es, frhzeitig den Fortbestand des Unternehmens und vor allem der 69 Arbeitspltze hier in Clausthal-Zellerfeld zu sichern, begrndet Christian Degenhardt seinen Entschluss. Zum richtigen Zeitpunkt habe ich mit Schaeffler den richtigen Partner gefunden, dieses Anliegen umzusetzen und die Erfolgsgeschichte der IFT fortzufhren. Der Technologiekonzern ist bereits seit 2001 Miteigentmer des Engineering-Dienstleisters, der 2012 einen Umsatz von 9 Mio. Euro erwirtschaftet hat.
Das Know-how und die Erfahrung der IFT-Mitarbeiter, z. B. im Bereich Ketten- und Ventiltrieb, sind fr Schaeffler ein echter Zugewinn. Das Geschftsmodell von IFT wird als hundert-prozentige Tochter das gleiche bleiben wie bisher, sodass Christian Degenhardt und sein Team weiterhin unabhngig am Markt auftreten und neben Konzernprojekten sogar verstrkt mit externen Kunden zusammenarbeiten werden, erklrt Prof. Peter Gutzmer die Plne des Konzerns fr das neue Tochterunternehmen. Dabei unterstrich er, dass die bernahme aller Geschftsanteile durch Schaeffler keinerlei personelle Auswirkungen haben und Christian Degenhardt weiterhin IFT-Geschftsfhrer sein wird. Ebenso bleibt auch der Standort in Clausthal-Zellerfeld bestehen, wo das Unternehmen in seinem Entwicklungszentrum zahlreiche Motoren- und Komponentenprfstnde betreibt.
Es ist seitens des Mutterkonzerns geplant, die Mitarbeiter und das Leistungsspektrum in den konzerneigenen Entwicklungsdienstleister Schaeffler Engineering zu integrieren. Rolf Laufs, CEO von Schaeffler Engineering, dazu: Das Know-how von Schaeffler Engineering im Bereich Mechatronik und das von IFT im Bereich Motormechanik ergnzen sich ideal. Das ermglicht es uns, gemeinsam weitere Geschftsfelder zu erschlieen und so zuknftig unsere Dienstleistungen und Produkte noch besser am Markt zu positionieren. Zudem sind sich unsere Unternehmen von der Mentalitt her sehr hnlich, sodass wir uns schon jetzt auf gemeinsame Projekte freuen und einer engeren Zusammenarbeit positiv entgegensehen.
Durch die Zusammenfhrung der beiden Tochterunternehmen will die Konzernmutter die Wachstumsplne des konzerneigenen Engineering-Dienstleisters aktiv untersttzen. Mit Blick auf die Neupositionierung von Schaeffler Engineering unterstreicht Dr. Jrgen M. Geiinger, Vorsitzender des Vorstands der Schaeffler AG, dass die angestrebte Kombination der Testing- und Prfkompetenz von IFT und der Entwicklungskompetenzen von Schaeffler Engineering fr unseren konzerneigenen Engineering-Dienstleister einen weiteren, bedeutenden Schritt im Rahmen der Wachstumsplne und in Richtung Systementwicklungspartner bedeutet. Wir fhren zwei erfolgreiche Unternehmen zusammen, um sie gemeinsam noch erfolgreicher zu machen und bndeln dabei gleichzeitig die Engineering-Kompetenzen innerhalb des Konzerns effektiver. Die Integration von IFT in Schaeffler und spter in Schaeffler Engineering ist somit fr alle Beteiligten eine Win-Win-Situation.

Die IFT Ingenieurgesellschaft fr Triebwerkstechnik ist ein Dienstleister fr die Automobil-, Zuliefer- und Schmierstoffindustrie mit Sitz in der Universittsstadt Clausthal-Zellerfeld. Seit 1990 bietet die IFT als Entwicklungspartner Engineering- und Dienstleistungen im Bereich der Motormechanik und -dynamik sowie von Motoren-Komponenten an. Neben standardisierten Prfverfahren bietet das Unternehmen individuelle Problemlsungen mit der Eigenentwicklung von Prfstnden und Prfverfahren. In der Entwicklungsphase neuer Automobile, Motorrder und anderer motorisierter Fahrzeuge und Gerte entwickeln die Mitarbeiter Bauteile und prfen die Funktionen und den Verschlei dieser Bauteile auf speziell entwickelten Prfstnden.

Die Schaeffler Engineering GmbH, eine einhundert Prozent Tochter der Schaeffler AG, ist ein internationaler Anbieter fr mechatronische Systementwicklung im Antriebsstrang, fr Fahrzeugerprobung und mobile Messtechnik. Zum Unternehmensspektrum gehren darber hinaus auch die Analyse und Optimierung der Fahrzeugakustik sowie die Entwicklung klassischer und alternativer Getriebe- und Antriebssysteme.
