Appointments to the Executive Committee

In addition to the nominations announced on the 4th February 2013, Jean-Bernard Lvy, Chairman and CEO of Thales, has appointed or confirmed the following people on the Executive Committee of Thales:

Alex Cresswell, Executive Vice-President, Land Defence and Air Operations;

Marc Darmon,Executive Vice-President, Defence and Security C4I Systems;

Jean-Pierre Forestier, Executive Vice-President, Transportation Systems;

Jean-Loc Galle,Executive Vice-President, Space;

Michel Mathieu,Executive Vice-President, Avionics;

Pierre Eric Pommellet, Executive Vice-President, Defence Mission Systems.

In addition, on 7th February 2013, the management team presented tothe Social partners a new organisation project.Following theconsultation processes,the organisation ofThaleswould consist of:

6 Global Business Units:

Secure Communications and Information Systems, which would be assigned to Marc Darmon;

Land and Air Systems, which would be assigned to Alex Cresswell;

Defence Mission Systems, which would be assigned to Pierre Eric Pommellet;

Avionics, which would be assigned to Michel Mathieu;

Space, which would be assigned to Jean-Loc Galle;

Ground Transportation Systems, which would be assigned to Jean-Pierre Forestier;

The Operations and Performance Department, assigned to Patrice Caine, would include International Operations responsible for European countries excluding France, Germany and the UK;

The International Development Department, assigned to Pascale Sourisse, would be responsible for African, Latin American, Asian and Middle-Eastern countries as well as Russia and Turkey;

Each of the 6 countries in which Thales has a very significant industrial activity would be supervised by a member of the Executive Committee:

Germany, assigned to Herv Multon;

Australia/New Zealand, assigned to Alex Cresswell;

Canada, assigned to Jean-Pierre Forestier

USA, assigned to Marc Darmon;

Netherlands, assigned to Pierre Eric Pommellet;

UK, assigned to Jean-Bernard Lvy.

Other departments would not see their responsibilities change.
