Die Umsatz- und Ergebnislage des global t tigen Automobil- und Industriezulieferers Schaeffler hat sich dank eines guten 3. Quartals 2017 positiv entwickelt. Der Umsatz der Schaeffler Gruppe wuchs in den ersten neun Monaten auf rund 10,5 Milliarden Euro (Vj.: rund 10,0 Milliarden Euro), was einem w hrungsbereinigten Wachstum von 5,0 Prozent entspricht. Die Wachstumsdynamik hat im 3. Quartal 2017 zugenommen. Nach zwei tendenziell eher schwachen Quartalen lag das w hrungsbereinigte Wachstum im 3. Quartal bei 7,4 Prozent (Vorquartal 2,2 Prozent). Die EBIT-Marge vor Sondereffekten erreichte auf dieser Basis, nach dem Margenr ckgang im 2. Quartal, im 3. Quartal wieder 12,1 Prozent, was in etwa dem Wert des 1. Quartals von 12,2 Prozent entspricht. So ergab sich in den ersten neun Monaten eine EBIT-Marge vor Sondereffekten von 11,4 Prozent (Vj.: 12,8 Prozent). Gleichzeitig erh hte sich das Konzernergebnis in den ersten neun Monaten - aufgrund des deutlich verbesserten Finanzergebnisses - gegen ber dem Vorjahr um 18 Prozent auf 791 Millionen Euro (Vj.: 672 Millionen Euro).
Das w hrungsbereinigte Umsatzwachstum der Sparte Automotive betrug im 3. Quartal 2017 6,9 Prozent (Vj.: 5,1 Prozent). Bereinigt um W hrungsumrechnungseffekte betrug das Wachstum damit in den ersten neun Monaten 2017 5,1 Prozent. Somit wuchs das Automotive-Gesch ft sowohl im 3. Quartal als auch in den ersten neun Monaten st rker als die weltweiten Produktionsst ckzahlen f r Pkw und leichte Nutzfahrzeuge. Ma geblichen Anteil an dieser Entwicklung hatte das OEM-Gesch ft in der Region Greater China, das um 26,3 Prozent zunahm.
Die Sparte Industrie setzte ihren Wachstumskurs im 3. Quartal 2017 mit einem w hrungsbereinigten Umsatzwachstum von 9,2 Prozent (Vj.: minus 6,2 Prozent) fort. Die Ums tze stiegen in den ersten neun Monaten 2017 w hrungsbereinigt um 4,6 Prozent. Alle acht Sektoren trugen zu der positiven Umsatzentwicklung im 3. Quartal bei.
In den vier Regionen der Schaeffler Gruppe verlief die Umsatzentwicklung unterschiedlich. W hrend die Ums tze in der Region Europa etwa auf Vorjahresniveau lagen ( 0,4 Prozent; w hrungsbereinigt: 0,2 Prozent), erh hten sich die Umsatzerl se in der Region Americas um 5,0 Prozent (w hrungsbereinigt: 3,8 Prozent). In der Region Greater China stiegen die Umsatzerl se in den ersten neun Monaten insgesamt um 21,3 Prozent (w hrungsbereinigt: 24,7 Prozent). Beide Sparten erzielten dabei prozentual zweistellige Wachstumsraten. Die Region Asien/Pazifik erzielte, gest tzt von beiden Sparten, ein Umsatzwachstum von 6,9 Prozent (w hrungsbereinigt: 6,2 Prozent).
Die Schaeffler Gruppe erwirtschaftete im 3. Quartal einen EBIT vor Sondereffekten von 416 Millionen Euro und lag damit auf dem Niveau aus dem Vorjahr von 417 Millionen Euro. Damit konnte die tempor re Ergebnisbelastung der Sparte Automotive des Vorquartals zum Gro teil aufgeholt werden. In den ersten neun Monaten ergab sich auf dieser Basis ein EBIT vor Sondereffekten von 1.196 Millionen Euro (Vj.: 1.276 Millionen Euro).
Das Finanzergebnis verbesserte sich im gleichen Zeitraum auf minus 104 Millionen Euro, gegen ber minus 320 Millionen Euro im Vorjahr. Der wesentliche Grund daf r waren gesunkene Zinsaufwendungen f r Finanzschulden. Auf dieser Basis betrug das Konzernergebnis nach neun Monaten 791 Millionen Euro (Vj.: 672 Millionen Euro). Der Gewinn pro Aktie stieg in diesem Zeitraum um 17 Prozent auf insgesamt 1,19 Euro (Vj.: 1,02 Euro).
Im 3. Quartal erwirtschaftete die Schaeffler Gruppe einen Free Cash Flow von 333 Millionen Euro (Vj.: 263 Millionen Euro). Damit ergibt sich f r die ersten neun Monate 2017 ein Free Cash Flow von 244 Millionen Euro (Vj.: 479 Millionen Euro). Die Investitionsauszahlungen betrugen in den ersten neun Monaten 873 Millionen Euro (Vj.: 829 Millionen Euro). Die Investitionsquote (Investitionsauszahlungen im Verh ltnis zum Konzernumsatz) lag auf dieser Basis bei 8,3 Prozent (Vj.: 8,3 Prozent). Die Mitarbeiterzahl erh hte sich um 3,1 Prozent auf rund 89.400 (Vj.: rd. 86.700).
Das Unternehmen best tigte seine Prognose f r das Gesamtjahr 2017 . Die Schaeffler Gruppe rechnet mit einem w hrungsbereinigten Umsatzwachstum in H he von 4 bis 5 Prozent, einer EBIT-Marge vor Sondereffekten zwischen 11 und 12 Prozent und einem Free Cash Flow vor externem Wachstum von rund 500 Millionen Euro.
Nach dem schwierigen 2. Quartal hat sich unser Gesch ft und die Ergebnislage im dritten Quartal deutlich stabilisiert. Zugleich konnten wir unseren Free Cash Flow deutlich verbessern. Wir gehen davon aus, dass wir so unsere im Juni angepassten Ziele f r das Jahr 2017 sicher erreichen , sagte dazu Klaus Rosenfeld, Vorsitzender des Vorstands der Schaeffler AG, am Mittwoch bei Vorlage der Gesch ftszahlen der ersten neun Monate 2017.
