Viewers of the SABC2 soapie 7de Laan were thrilled when the judge announced that Aggie is Bronwen's mother instead of Bonita.

AGGIE IS FINALLY A MOM' Aggie became a mother to Bronwen's (Annabel Kohl) after Bonita and De Wet announced they give her up for adoption as they battled to connect with her.
The rebellious teenager Bronwen became homeless when her grandmother died and Bonita was announced as her guardian.

Bronwen is Bonita's late friend's daughter who started living with Aggie after her fallout with the married pair, De Wet and Bonita.
Bronwen realised that she has a better relationship with Aggie as they clicked and connected from the beginning and informed Bonita and De Wet that she wants to move out.
A social worker, Lana was assigned to Bronwen's guardianship case and Aggie (Mimi Mahlasela) won custody of the teenager.
