Interra Systems at NAB-2012, Las Vegas - Showcases Enterprise-Class Digital Media Solutions Cupertino, CA - Mar 21, 2012

Following a year of impressive market and customer gains, Interra Systems is showcasing major advances to its Enterprise-Class Digital Media Solutions at stand SL 9512 in NAB-2012, being held April 16-19 in Las Vegas.

Stages - Baton QC Seminars: As part of its ongoing customer reach-out, Interra Systems is launching a series of joint seminars at NAB 2012 in collaboration with its Baton-Connect partner companies. The seminars are called Stages - Baton QC Seminars. The goal of these seminars is to inform the customers about best practices in use of Interras Baton Automated File-based QC Software and its integration with leading MAM & Workflow solutions at each stage of content-lifecycle.

Baton: Interra will be showcasing the latest in Baton, its industry leading file-based QC solution. Baton is an enterprise-class QC software used in production by hundreds of customers including major Broadcasters, Post production houses, IPTV, Satellite, and Archiving companies. Baton solution extends beyond the basic QC capabilities to Enterprise QC. Baton QC includes most comprehensive quality checks and Enterprise-wide scalability including efficient verification, deployment scalability, integration readiness, and high availability. Baton solution highlights at NAB include major enhancements in formats support (DTS, MKV, and more), quality checks (Film grain noise, Audio track layout, and enhancements to existing quality checks), closed captioning, additional formats support in Baton Media Player, verification efficiency, audio loudness analysis and correction, verification reports management, and high availability.

Vega: Interra will be showcasing Vega media analyzers, a de-facto industry standard to ensure standards compliance of encoded media. Vega is in production use at many customers spanning - codec developers, broadcasters, semiconductor companies, video head-ends and video equipment manufactures. Vegas media analysis portfolio includes: H.264, SVC, MVC, VP8, VC1, WebM, MP4, MPEG-2 TS ,Dolby audio, DVB subtitling, CEA 608 & 708, KLV Metadata, Buffer analysis, and Video comparator. Recent solution highlights include multi-core support for MVC streams, multiple enhancements in SVC and Batch Mode Analysis, in-depth analysis of VP8, WebM, and HbbTV.
