Animayo starts in its first traveling route Animayo Barcelona will pay a special tribute to a luxury guest of honor, Claudio Biern Boyd, one of the fathers of the Spanish and European animation.
Animayo, the summit animation, visual effects and video games, closes its doors in Madrid and goes to Barcelona to start its first traveling route 2017. It will be in CaixaForum Barcelona on 13 and 14 January.
In its recent edition in Madrid Animayo he managed to bring together professionals, students, onlookers, supporters and fans of the sector, full poster hanging in many of the sessions. Animayo, with the collaboration of the Obra Social "La Caixa" he has consolidated in this way its presence in Madrid as an unavoidable meeting for all lovers of this industry event.

Animayo has spent six years organizing their own event in Los Angeles and presenting his Honours in Animation studios like Walt Disney, Dreamworks Animation and Sony Pictures Animation. The annual event of the Festival in Gran Canaria is the starting signal for a tour around the world, with shares in Gran Canaria, Madrid, Los Angeles, Mumbai, Lisbon, Huesca, Zaragoza, Holland, Sevilla, Uruguay and Lanzarote. Animayo Barcelona will pay a special tribute to a luxury guest of honor, Claudio Biern Boyd, one of the fathers of the Spanish and European animation and president of BRB International and Screen 21 (David the Gnome, Dogtanian and the three Musketeers, Around the World with Willy Fog, Zip and Zap, Ruy the small Cid, Bernard, Invizimals, The Memory of Water).
Another great special guests of this edition is Carlos Grangel, character designer on such films as Corpse Bride, Spirit, The Prince of Egypt, The Road to El Dorado, Hotel Transylvania, Kung Fu Panda, Madagascar or Pirates... With him go over the 25 years of Grangel Studios working on designing and creating characters, giving the keys that every designer would have the hand of this great artist, considered one of the top ten worldwide.
We dive into the 3D universe and visual effects, with presentations by experts from the official school of the Festival, FX Animation Barcelona 3D & Film School, like Nacho Doctor, head of FX Area & Program Instructor, effects technical director, lighting artist, composer 2D & cinematographer (The Jungle Book, Pirates of the Caribbean: Revenge of Salazar, Talking Tom and Friends) That will explain how different departments of a film post-production work. And with Toni Mena, the coordinator of postproduction, Palme dOr at the Cannes Film Festival and is currently on the short list of the Oscars (the top 10), discover the secrets of one of his latest productions, TimeCodeWhere he will delve into his post and incorporating effects such as color correction, motion graphics, tracking, replacement of 2D and 3D elements, creating visual effects, trimming techniques and image composition, etc
